Student at the University of Technology, Sydney
I love Raukkan. My whole family's there. It's one big circle of houses on a very small island, but medical health affects us because the hospitals are so far away.
I was the first Aboriginal to go to St Andrew's Cathedral School in Sydney. When I hit year nine, I didn't want to be at school anymore. I wanted to do an apprenticeship and
get money easily.
I was part of the AIME program where we went to university and did workshops. That's when I realised I should give it a go.
Now I'm studying medical science because I want to be a rural doctor and help out my community.
