I came to uni to prove to my community that there's more to life outside Dubbo. Back home a lot of people get stuck. Dubbo hasn't got much to offer.

If I didn't have the support I've had in Sydney, I don't think I would be where I am now. At first I thought, "Uni isn't for me. I want to go back home." But the support at uni has made me feel this is where I belong. I'm going to prove to myself and everyone else that I can do and be much more.
